An entrepreneur asserts that the long-extinct woolly mammoth will be brought back within four years.

This might get messy.

Due to funding from Hollywood stars like Paris Hilton and Chris Hemsworth, a high-tech company is confident that woolly mammoth, an extinct animal from the ice age, can be revived by 2028.

The Independent reported that start-up Colossal Biosciences is developing a method to revive "core" genes from long-extinct animals such as the Tasmanian tiger, the dodo, and the mammoth. The company claims to be "the world's first de-extinction company."

Colossal Biosciences is working on a method for bringing back "core" genes from animals that have been extinct for a long time, like the woolly mammoth.

Thanks to Colossal, the company with its headquarters in Texas has raised more than $235 million from famous backers like motivational speaker Tony.

According to The Intercept, Robbins, PayPal co-founder and venture capitalist Peter Thiel, and, in a bizarre twist, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) are also involved.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, its CEO, Ben Lamm, likened the procedure to a "reverse Jurassic Park."
