This is Pakistan’s First AI-Based Influencer: Shabnam Xai

 Everyone seems to have an AI influencer at this point. Why not Pakistan too? The answer comes in the form of Shabnam Xai, Pakistan’s first AI influencer with over 8000 followers on Instagram.


Shabnam’s Instagram account says she is a digital creator and an MBA Candidate at LUMS. She hails from Islamabad and her content specializes in food, fitness, travel, and more. She has been posting on her account since July 16.


The photos feature Shabnam in many different northern areas of Pakistan, including Skardu, Azad Jammu, and Kashmir.


She has also been pictured in several countries around the globe such as France and Spain. In one of her photos, she is posing in front of the Palestinian flag to show support for Gaza. The caption says: “Palestine, Where my Heart is.”

But as with every AI-made content, there are inconsistencies in the photos where Shabnam sometimes looks like a different person. But for the most part, the photos seem convincing enough. This is a general weakness in most modern generative AI models, but nothing that cannot be fixed in future iterations.

As a result, her audience in the comment section is divided between people calling her beautiful and some saying that she does not look like a Pakistani model. You can decide for yourself by checking out her Instagram profile here.

Jay Cutler, a former quarterback for the NFL, is facing DUI and weapons charges.

  Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler was arrested in Tennessee on Thursday night after a traffic crash and faces four charges, a spokesperson for the Franklin Police Department told ESPN. Cutler, 41, was charged with driving under the influence, possession of a handgun while under the influence, failure to exercise due care to avoid a collision and implied consent. According to a release from the Franklin Police Department, officers responded to a minor traffic collision in downtown Franklin around 5 p.m. Thursday.
